4. A rule made

By the end of 1680, thanksgiving was officially made a holiday and it was a rule to celebrate the day thanking people and the Lord. The rule was declared by various leaders of the churches who made it compulsory to celebrate the occasion with love. Many political leaders also supported this making it more popular by time.

5. The day decided

Thanksgiving was first celebrated on the last date of November. But, this move was officially revoked by U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt who changed the day to fourth Thursday of November. He officially signed a resolution to change the Thanksgiving date on 26th DEC 1941. Since then, Thanksgiving Day is officially celebrated on last Thursday of November in America.

6. Different days of celebration

Thanksgiving is an occasion of joy and gesture of gratitude. But, it is not celebrated on the similar date all over the world. Different countries have their own reasons and well different dates for celebrations. In Canada, it is celebrated on the second Monday of Oct. In Liberia, it is celebrated on the first Thursday of November. And, in Australia it is celebrated on last Wednesday of November. So, different countries celebrate the occasion on different days, but the meaning still remains the same.

Thanksgiving Day celebration is all about the kindness in the heart. There are many evidences in the history that signify different reasons but the meaning is still similar. The celebration of thanksgiving dates back to the sixteenth century and it still holds lots of significance in the present time. Thanksgiving is the day to thank everyone around you with your clear view and heart. For all the things, people do for you and for everything you have in your life to lead it in a good way.
