5. In extreme excitement
Dogs do show extreme emotions at times. This can also happen in case of extreme excitement. Like, when they meet you after many days. Or, when they feel happy in your company! When you love them, and they love you back. There may be tears of excitement because of feelings of love. They feel nurtured with your love.
6. Attention driven
Dogs can also behave like children at times. As a matter of fact, they can cry or howl for that attention. You heard that right. When they need that attention from you, they might just cry or howl. It is their way of saying that you love them or care for them. Though, they may do this in a very subtle way.
7. When they are sad
Dogs understand the language of love. If you are sad in front of them, then it affects them a lot. And, if you cry in front of them, then chances are that they might also cry with you. So, it is mutual feeling from their side. They just want that love and attention from you. When they get that love, they feel happy from within. So, it depends on how they react to a particular situation.
