What Are The Common Myths About Pregnancy?
Other myths
Myth#1: If the pregnant woman sees a lunar or solar eclipse, her baby will be born with a cleft lip.
The fact is that the cleft lip could be a genetic thing, or caused due to other environmental factors.
Myth#2: If the pregnant woman vomits a lot during pregnancy, her baby will be born hairy.
Well, the truth is that the vomiting happens due to hormonal imbalance. It has got nothing to do with how much hair the baby will have on its body or head.
Myth#3: If a pregnant woman eats twin bananas, she might get twins too.
Well, getting twins isn’t that simple you ladies!
Myth#4: If the cravings of a pregnant woman are not fulfilled, then the baby might get a dark mark on her nose. In some countries, it is believed that pus might get released from the baby’s ear once it is born if the mother had some craving which wasn’t satiated before delivery.
This certainly is not true. But a pregnant woman can use it to get whatever she wants, so we can let this one remain a true myth!
