7 Ways to Work Out Outside
5. Meditate
Breathe in, breathe out. Spend at least 20-minutes in a day meditating. It’s not necessary to have a proper gym mat and yoga suit to meditate. You can easily do this while traveling or sitting in a park or even while relaxing on the beach. Close your eyes and let your mind concentrate on a single thought or place. Try and tune out all other sounds and focus on the one thing. This will not only calm your nerves but will also bring your mind to an equilibrium. Stay stress-free with this simple method of exercising.
6. Go bowling
This is yet another simple but effective way of working out outdoors. Collect a bunch of friends and head out to a fun filled, energy boosting bowling session. Give yours arms, legs and abs a little exercise. Stretch them wide and stretch them long, get bowling along!
7. Step up
Do you live on the 10th story? Do you always depend on the elevator to reach your home? Do away with that worried frown and grab this opportunity to shed those extra kilos. Climbing stairs is an excellent cardiac exercise with the added benefit of being ‘low impact’ on your knees. Start with two flights of stairs per day and gradually increase the number to build up your stamina. So get ready to flaunt those toned hamstrings and calves!
