4. Get some fresh air

Do not try to recreate day and night in the new place. Instead go out and get some fresh air and some natural light. Natural air and light both rejuvenate your body and spirit.

5. Do not drink on the flight

Drinking a lot on the flight or soon after you get off can be bad. Your body can only cope with so much. With all the change in time zones, your body’s circadian rhythm, the biological clock that maintains your sleep patterns will take a hit. Do not add to the stress by drinking.
