Eating spicy food has long been recommended to induce labor. It is thought to work by irritating the stomach and causing it to expel things out thereby making the uterus mimic the process.
6. Pineapple
Pineapples contain bromelain which can help in inducing labour. But each pineapple contains only a little bit of bromelain so you will have to eat at least 7 or 8 pineapples to stimulate labor. Walking is also said to induce early labor after 38 weeks. But do not wear yourself out walking too much as you will need all the energy you have for the delivery.
