7 Ways to End Sibling Rivalry in Your Home
5. Teach them to help
Promote the act of kindness between the two. Tell your children that helping one another will reinforce love in their relationship. Ask them to stand for each other in difficult times. With kindness and gratitude, their viewpoint will definitely change in life.
6. Encourage family bonding time
It is important to take some time out from your busy schedule and encourage family bonding. For instance, arrange for special board games with family. Or else, go out for long drives or weekend trips. This will not only improve your family bond, but will benefit your children as well. They will get to spend some quality time with each other, which may prevent some fights.
7. Give special space to your children
Every child needs space. It is important to give that space to your child. If possible give a separate room to each child so that he/she stay in his/her own space. If that is not feasible, then give some other option so that your child feels good and does not fight with his/her sibling. Individual space will also help to develop a great bond between the two.
Your approach towards sibling rivalry should be positive. Do not panic; rather stay calm and you will be able to tackle the issue easily.
