7 Ways a Woman is her Own Enemy
5. Being too self-critical
Judging yourself too harshly will only make you feel negative about yourself. Though it is important to be true to yourself and to be aware of one’s own flaws, you must not be over critical about yourself. Learn to give a pat on your back when you do something good.
6. Taking pleasure in being the victim
If you have had a tough life, then you may eventually (though unconsciously) begin to like being the victim. You might end up talking regularly about how a certain person wronged you and how you could not improve the situation because of a certain someone. Be introspective and see if you somehow like the sympathy and the attention that you get from others when you share your sob stories with them. If that is the case, you must check your behavior and change your attitude because it will only prove a hindrance to your overall growth.
7. Relying on others for your happiness
Know that you have to be responsible for your own happiness. If you expect others to behave in a certain way so as to make you happy then, then you will always feel as if there is a void which is impossible to fill. People are bound to hurt you, cheat you, lie to you, fight with you, and more. You need to find your inner happiness and not rely on others for it.
