An important part of the traditional Christmas dinner, plum pudding is also another must-have on the feast table. Originated in medieval England, plum pudding is made of many dried fruits, egg, suet and flavored with spices like ginger, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg to name a few. Says a myth, “pudding should be made on the 25th Sunday after Trinity, that it be prepared with 13 ingredients to represent Christ and the 12 apostles, and that every family member stir it in turn from east to west to honor the Magi and their supposed journey in that direction.”
5. Baked ham

After baking the ham, for glazing, a combination of brown sugar, mustard and pineapple juice is mixed and applied on the ham before baking again.
