1. Decide what to do

Unless you know what you wish to achieve, how can you expect to reach there? You should be crystal clear about your goals and your aims in life. This will protect you from the anxiety of an unclear mind and an aimless life.

2. Optimism

Be optimistic. Without optimism and belief in yourself, you cannot do even the simplest of tasks in life. Achieving something or getting what you want requires a lot of faith in your capabilities to achieve your goal and a positive approach towards it.

3. Be consistent

Write down your goal on your diary or somewhere and commit to yourself that you will put efforts to reach that goal. Set a time limit. For example, if you wish to complete your project, write down on a piece of paper and commit to yourself that you will complete it within whatever time you decide. Gradually you will get in to the habit of doing things as decided.
