From all the suggestions that we received, we found that one of the most common reasons to why women love to gossip is because, ‘everyone else does it’. It is hard to ignore gossiping because it is prevalent in every school, university, office and household. Often, gossiping is used as a tool to spread positive or negative rumors in a workplace or other institutions. We think gossiping, in fact, may be a strong case of “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em”.
