9. Wear sunglasses
You should use sunglasses in case you go out in the sun, when wearing your lenses. It is because your eyes become sensitive to the sun when you are wearing lenses.

Make sure that you are wearing your contact lenses properly. If a lens is placed inside out, it won’t fit properly and would be uncomfortable for you, though it will not harm your eye.
11. Do not sleep with your lenses on
Sleeping with contact lenses would obstruct the flow of oxygen that the eyes require and they would get dry and will stick to your eye. If ever it happens, make sure you put an eye drop before removing your lenses.

Keep the solution bottle in a dry and clean place. Also, do not let the tip of the solution bottle come in contact with anything, as it will contaminate the solution.

Do not wear lenses after applying eye makeup. First wear your contact lenses and then apply makeup. Be careful while applying makeup. Take care to see that the eyeliner or the mascara do not touch the surface of your lens.

Avoid wearing lens while cooking or while you are around a hot place like a barbecue.
