10 Tips to Take Care of Damaged Hair
6. After a wash, people generally tend to twist their hair up into a towel. Avoid doing that. Instead you can just squeeze the water and pat dry your hair with a towel and let it dry naturally. Use of blow dryers or hair styling machinery is not always recommended. Use it only when you want to style your hair.
7. Try to avoid brushes as much as possible. Use wide toothed combs that are smooth on your hair. Do not comb hair when it is wet. This will only add on to the problems of already damaged hair. Let your hair dry naturally. You can then untangle it and comb. When wet, your hair is weaker and more prone to breakage. Proper care should be taken.
8. Use shampoos that are rich in protein content. Do not use shampoos that contain too much of chemicals. If using them, dilute them with loads of water. Chemicals can act harsh on your hair.
9. Almonds are proven to be good for hair growth. 4-5 washed almonds a day can help in hair growth.
10. Lastly, good nutrition is important for healthy hair. Eat lots of protein dishes and eggs. Eggs can also used for hair treatment. Apply the yolk or a paste of the egg white. Either of them can work wonders to damaged hair.
Always remember, damaged hair is only a temporary problem. But over thinking about it and stressing yourself can make it a permanent problem. A healthy brain and a healthy body results in healthy hair.
