9 Tips to Make a Headache Go Away
A headache is said to be the worst of all pains. It’s a lot easier to prevent a headache before it is full-blown. Eye pain, nausea, blurred vision or temporary blind spot, seeing pulsating lines and stars, concentration difficulties and trouble finding the right words are all typical symptoms of an oncoming headache. Here are some effective ways to soothe your throbbing head.
1. Drink plentiful of water
One of the most common causes of headaches is dehydration. Have you had a fluid loss due to vomiting or a terrible hangover? A pounding is the only outcome. So, make sure that you drink a tall glass of water as soon as your head starts hurting and continue to drink at regular intervals throughout the day.
2. Laugh out loud
Laughter is the best medicine for most body ailments. It’s nature’s very own painkiller! It may seem insane. Laughing, when all you want to do is bang your head against the wall? But, rest assured, letting yourself laugh openly will definitely bring down the pain in your head. Relief is abundant, you’ll realize.
3. Drink a hot cup of ginger tea
A steaming mug of ginger tea is all that you need to make a headache go away. It’s simple, tasty and largely effective in curing a nagging headache. And the best part is, you can make it at home by yourself!
4. Massage your scalp and temples
Take a few drops of coconut oil or argan oil and apply it to your scalp. Using your fingertips, slowly massage the scalp. Gentle massage of the temples will also help relieve pressure in those areas. The bridge of your nose can make your headache go away if you gently press it when you begin noticing the peculiar signs of a migraine/sinus.
5. Eat little but regularly
A hungry stomach is a major cause of headache. Make sure that you pop something or the other at regular intervals to avoid your headache from reaching its full stage.
