If you happen to be dating a person, it is very important for you to make sure that your boyfriend and roommate get along well with each other. If they are not cordial towards each other, it may create problems for you, and can lead to an atmosphere that will be uncomfortable for all of you. You should go out of your way to make the two of them bond. Also, you should make sure that your boyfriend is not jealous of your roommate. You could ask him if he wants anything when you are going out to buy things for yourself. Also, you could occasionally help him with things he is having a difficulty with. You should also be a good listener. There would be times when you would want him to listen to you. You should also give him a helping hand every now and then.

Your roommate and you are going to be sharing the same apartment. It’s important to bond with each other, but don’t over-share. This can make things awkward or even lead to situations when you may do something you later regret. What is equally essential is that you watch what you say. Don’t say anything offensive or make politically incorrect jokes. Unless your roommate has the same sense of humor as you, it’s best to tread lightly in such matters.
12. Engage in activities together
You may want to develop a bond by engaging in activities together, which may not put a lot of burden on your roommate. You could join a gym together, or maybe go to the sports club or even watch movies. You should be considerate towards the other person while choosing such activities though. Choose something that interests you both equally.
