4. Do something new
One of the simplest and most effective ways of getting out of your comfort zone is to try doing something that you have never done before. It could be something as basic as trying a new cuisine. Join a salsa class, try Karaoke, or just go to the theater alone. The point of the exercise is to put yourself in situations that you have never faced before.
5. Make new friends
The most difficult part is to move away from the comfort zone that our friends form for us. Take the initiative to talk to someone new. You need not aim to form a long-lasting friendship, just interact with someone new. This will help you discover new people and understand how they live their life. You are bound to learn new things in the process.
