8 Tips to Bargain at a Flea Market
5. Get a friend to support you
Going shopping to a flea market with a friend will not only make you have more fun but it will also help you to bargain with sellers too. Two heads are always better than one when it comes to bargaining. If you have one more person to support you in haggling, it will put more pressure on the seller.
6. Stick to your upper limit
If you have decided that you will not spend more than a particular amount of money for buying something you like, stick to your decision. It can be easy to flout your upper limit when you bargain with the seller, especially when you are offered a lucrative deal that requires you to go slightly above your upper limit.
7. Offer or ask for a bundle deal
Are you unable to come to an agreement with the seller over price even after a few minutes of haggling? If this is the case, then you should ask the seller to give you a bundled deal of two products or more. This will be a win-win situation for you and the seller.
8. Shop a little before closing time
It is commonly known that sellers want to get rid of their wares as much as possible before they close for the day. As the day progresses to evening, sellers get desperate to sell off their goods. Take advantage of this and nab them when they are weak.
