You do not want to make an enemy out of your ex. Tell him why it is not working out. He might know it already but might have been hesitant to let you know.

Sometimes you just know he’s going to break up with you. Instead of crying over it and feeling that your life is over, think of things to do that will take your mind off the breakup. Start a new hobby that will keep you occupied. Make new friends. Do anything that will help ease the pain.

Breakups can be destructive even if we try to downplay out emotions. It is better to prepare ourselves when we know a breakup is on the horizon. It minimizes the pain and hurt that we have to face.
