14 Things You Should Own by 30
8. A collection of souvenirs
These could be fridge magnets or other little things that you have collected from all your travels. Nothing like flaunting off to your friends where all you’ve been!
9. A personal tailor
One that you rely on for all your last minute fixes, as well as for all your detailed and customized orders.
10. A precious piece of jewelry
It could be a small ring or a bracelet or a pendant that you like wearing all the time and are attached a lot to. It’s like one of those things your kids will remember you for when you pass it to them.
11. Permanent furniture
Not the kind of stuff that you get in boxes or what’s collapsible. It’s the kind of stuff that you keep for the longest time in a well settled home. In other words, graduate to wood and wrought iron from plastic and bamboo.
12. Proper nightwear
It’s time you stop treating your worn out work-wear or causal t-shirts as nightwear and buy proper night suits or night dresses instead. Have a separate collection of these.
13. A vehicle
Depending on how much you earn, it could be a bike or a car, or even a second-hand car for that matter. But it should be something bought from your own money that you are proud of.
14. A full dinner set
Spare your kitchen from the assortment of utensils you get at the supermarket and invest in a proper dinner set that looks formal and presentable when there are guests at home for lunch or dinner.
Of course, each person thinks differently, and everyone has their own goals, targets or ambitions. That way, there is practically no end to this list. But it’s always nicer to aim for maturity and settled living by the time you turn 30, and that’s something that everyone must believe in.
