4. Never ignore his suicidal thoughts
Suicide is a major risk, if a person is depressed. So, if at point of time your husband starts talking about suicide, never ignore it. You should alert the therapist at the earliest to avoid any such mishap. Never leave him alone at home. Also, notice any sudden changes in his behavior such as showing more love to you, settling financial commitments, calling up friends and relatives and the like. Always stay alert when you have a depressed husband.
5. Find someone to lend a helping hand
If your husband is fighting from depression, you cannot afford to go weak. So, ensure that you get some help from friends, relatives or neighbors. You need someone to support you during the crisis. If you have to take care of your husband, you need to be strong. Hence don’t hesitate to seek help when required. You need to eat right, sleep right and meditate, if possible to keep your physical and emotional balance intact.
