The Most Expensive Perfumes In The World You Wish You Could Afford!

I love window shopping just like all women in the world do! But you know what? I always end up sniffing around near the perfume kiosks. And as you have already guessed it, I never go back without trying out a few testers! If you’re like me and want to indulge in some perfume geekery, then join me in my journey of looking at the world’s most expensive perfumes.

1. Clive Christian Imperial Majesty

I wonder what a perfume costing $215,000 might be made of! That’s the whopping amount which British designer Clive Christian charges for offering this beauty. The pure pleasure of looking at this perfume comes from the bottle which has been set in an 18 carat gold collar, studded with a 5 carat diamond, and bodied out of pure Baccarat crystal. Only 5 pieces are produced each year, making this 17 oz. of perfume an exclusive rarity. No prizes for guessing that Guinness Book of World Records has noted this perfume as the most expensive perfume in the world. Make way for the imperial Majesty.

2. Clive Christian No. 1

Yes, Clive Christian is here again! Don’t even make the mistake of comparing it to the Imperial Majesty. This perfume is in a different league altogether. Although it’s a magnificent combination of Indian jasmine, sandalwood and mandarin, critics have panned it down in comparison to Christian’s Imperial Majesty. A pure visual delight, the neck of the bottle is set in 24 carat gold plated sterling silver, accentuated by a solitaire.
Priced at $2,150 for a 2 oz. bottle, Clive Christian is not getting any cheaper!

3. Caron’s Poivre

If you like discreet floral fragrances like rose, lavender, jasmine, carnation, sandalwood, cedar, Lily of the valley, musk and tonka, I bet you’ll love Caron’s Poivre. Retailing at $2,000 for 2 oz., this perfume is captured in a Baccarat bottle. The beauty of this fragrance lies in the white gold collar which is encrusted with crystals. I find it very fascinating that pepper was the inspiration for this perfume. Did you know that ‘Poivre’ meant ‘pepper’ in French?
