4 Surprising Sources of Transfat
3. Batter fried food
Just like French fries, you never really know what oil is used to fry your food. Deep fried food and batter fried food should be avoided at all costs if you are not sure of what is used to fry them. Also a lot of places use the same oil to fry over and over again and that could be really bad for your health.
4. Frozen pies and pie crusts
Baked products that you buy off the store and especially the ones that can be stored for long have a lot of Trans fat in them. Frozen pies and pie crusts are pretty good sources of trans fat and should be avoided.
Sometimes, it is either easy to take these foods home or they are just too tasty to gorge on. But we might be ingesting more trans-fat that we should be and that can cause some serious complications at a later stage. It is always better to know your foods containing trans-fat and stay away from them rather than crib about it later.
