6. Combine exercises

If you find it tough to complete your circuit of exercises in the time you have, combine exercises. While you are walking on the treadmill, you can try shoulder presses, side laterals, standing triceps kickbacks and the likes. Begin gradually and increase counts when you become more comfortable.

7. Go on fitness dates

Somehow working with companions is a great motivation to exercise. Set fitness play dates with other moms in the neighborhood or fitness family dates so you can combine exercise with fun, laughter and excitement. You will look forward to such exercise sessions.

8. Combine television and workout

There may be a program or two you watch on television every day. If you have time to do that, combine that schedule with workouts. Seize every opportunity to sneak in a workout. You break into a sweat and also don’t miss out on your favorite programs.

9. Practice Yoga with kids

Yoga has been identified as one of the best modes of workouts for kids and adults alike. So, every time you begin your yoga session, you can include your little ones as well. You get your share of workout and so do they. Fitness is fabulous the family way.

10. Buy new clothes

Buy clothes you think you might be a little bigger for. There is nothing more satisfying than fitting into clothes of your choice to show off a more beautiful, fit and sexy you. So, if you need motivation to exercise, go get yourself some retail therapy.

You may want to be a super mom every time; but remember you can be one only when your health supports your ideals. So, health first, rest later.
