5 Steps on How to Not Let Criticism Affect You
4. Set the perspective right
It is just like seeing the glass half full. When you know something did not come out to be as good as it should have, and you know that you can do better, instead of whining and making excuses, why not let it go and do well the next time. However, that does not mean you should become complacent and be content with your mistakes. Be on the other side of the thin line, the side on which you do not beat yourself up about things and use them to learn
and grow.
5. Celebrate the life that you have
Meanwhile, enjoy and have fun. You did something; that is an accomplishment in itself. You had fun, you worked hard, you should feel good and celebrate. So yeah, there were a few things you received a critique upon, big deal! You know you can only be better, and you will be better, so why spend your precious time worrying? Go out and celebrate.
