6 Reasons You and Your Husband should have a Common Email Account
When you get married, you should prepare yourself to share a lot of things. You not only share your space –both the physical space- the living space but also the emotional space. You share your bed, your secrets, your aspirations, your love, your food, your body and a whole lot of other things. While it makes sense to share certain things, sharing everything is definitely not a good idea. Sharing your passwords to email accounts and social networking sites is not a good idea even if you two are really close. But then it makes sense to have one common email account for the two of you. Here are some reasons as to why you and your husband should have a common email account.
1. You can get invitations in this account
When a friend is trying to invite the two of you to a party or a wedding, the invite can be sent to the common account so neither you nor your husband would feel left out, nor the friends too needn’t send an invite to both the accounts. One invite mentioning the two of you should do very well.
2. One of you will always know what mails are being received
When you both have access to a common account, there is less chances of you two missing out on all the mails that been sent to you. Even if you are too busy, your husband would check the mails and the same can be true of him too. You will also know if the mails have been opened so there are fewer chances of you two blaming each other if you had forgotten something.
3. You can direct financial transactions with your bank to this account
If you two have separate bank accounts and want to share something or if one of you want to have access to the financial records in case of death or an accident, then this common account would be useful to find out the financial details of your spouse. You can also keep track of how much is being spent by the two of you.
