Although Botox has been in use for decades and millions have had Botox injections, there are still doubts over the safety of Botox injections on women and children. 1. Different people react to different dosages
Botox injections when used for cosmetic purposes like lifting the chin, the eyelids and getting rid of wrinkles only use a small amount of botulinum toxin, whereas for medicinal uses such as treatment for neck spasms and muscle spasms in cerebral palsy the dosage is high. Higher dosages of Botox are known to cause a lot of problems in children.

Botox injections in children with cerebral palsy can cause breathing difficulties and also loss of neck control.as the dosage of Botox is higher.
3. It causes temporary problems after a cosmetic procedure
There can be temporary and local problems after you get a Botox injection for cosmetic purposes. The problems can be bruising, swelling and facial asymmetry. This though will disappear after a few days.
