Pros and Cons of Online Dating
CONS:
1. More often than not, the people you interact with online are not genuine. So, online relationships are not fully safe.
2. Often, the person you interact with online might pretend to be someone he/she is not. The profile that impressed you in the first place could be a fake one.
3. Some people chat online just for fun or to spend their leisure time. So they would often say what you want to hear rather than being genuine. An online relationship which lacks genuineness is not advisable to have, unless you too are there just for time pass.
4. The chances that someone you are interacting with online will be lying are paramount.
5. Often, a genuine person might come across as rude or arrogant because some people lack good writing skills so he/she might not be able to express his/her true feelings properly just by typing a few words on the computer keyboard.
6. The Internet is another world in itself and the rules of that world are weird. Due to the proliferation of online dating sites, you have too many options at any given time.Being in a relationship with one person might be challenging because every minute someone more appealing might pop up and divert your attention.
7. Sometimes online relationships are used by shoddy people to satiate their cravings for sex chat and/or webcam chat where they want their voyeuristic cravings fulfilled. They are not in search of true friendship or any other kind of genuine relationship.
