7 Parenting Myths Busted
5. Kids need explanation for everything
This is not true. Your child does not need detailed explanations for everything. Sometimes things should be left as they are. If you do not wish to explain your child, then simply divert the topic. Your child will understand everything, when the time is right.
6. Mother is more important than father
This is absolutely untrue. If you believe your child needs only mother to fulfill his/her emotional needs, then you are wrong. Father has an equally important role to play in raising the kids. Your child should get love and support from both parents.
7. Never argue in front of kids
If you believe that arguing in front of kids will make them emotionally weak, then this is not true. Children are not affected by fair arguments; in fact they get stronger when they face arguments. It kind of helps them to be emotionally strong.
