How to Make Lip Gloss at Home?
A lip gloss adds that perfect shine and style to your lips. But do you often wonder how you can prepare your own lip gloss at home and that too quickly and easily? Here’s how to make lip gloss at home.
1. Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly Lip Gloss
Preparing this lip gloss is fairly easy. All you need is a bit of Vaseline/petroleum jelly and your preferred lipstick shade. Take a bit of Vaseline/petroleum jelly and a small cut portion of your chosen lipstick. Mix these thoroughly in an empty container with lid (so that you can store it for later use also). Your moisturizing lip gloss is ready!
2. Cranberry Lip Gloss
Take 10 fresh cranberries and put them in a microwaveable bowl along with 1 tbsp sweet almond oil and 1 tsp honey. Microwave and mix well. When it gets cold, you can sieve to get the clear liquid without any solids. Let it cool and transfer it to a container. A word of caution: when you use microwave, be careful not to spill the hot liquid on yourself.
3. Chocolate Lip Gloss
For this all you need is ¼ tsp grated chocolate, 1 ½ tsp grated cocoa butter, ½ tsp coconut oil and 1/8 tsp Vitamin E oil. Mix all ingredients except grated chocolate. Melt the ingredients in a microwave or double boiler. In the end, add grated chocolate. Your delicious chocolate lip gloss is ready!
