4. Keep a thin line between your eyeliner and eye shadow
This should be done so that the eyeliner shade does not take over your dark eye shadow. If you keep a thin line between them while applying your eye shadow then, while smudging you will find that both the pencil color and the shade color will exist simultaneously. It will give you those perfect smokey eyes!
5. Always blend in an upward direction
The reason is very simple and one you might have already guessed. Use an eye shadow brush if you do not have a smudger and then stroke the color upwards so that it blends well. For blending the pencil color and the dark shadow, use a liner brush.
6. Finish off the look with dark mascara
It is best to use mascaras which will give volume to your lashes but any mascara would do. Finally, use a lash curler and you are all set with your hot smokey eye look.
Tip: Make sure your lips are light glossy and preferably nude.
