– Why the name ‘Good Friday?’
There are often questions about the naming of this important event in history. If it marks the death of Christ, then what’s good about it? The reason behind ‘Good Friday’ is that God offered himself as the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind and gave all those believers who repented a pathway to Heaven.

– Traditions followed on Good Friday
Being a day of mourning, Christians mostly dress in black, refrain from all kinds of entertainment and fast. Those who don’t fast, have simple meals and everyone remembers the suffering of Christ on that day.
