Do’s And Don’ts Of Swimming
Don’ts
Don’t compromise on a bathing suit
Do you compromise on your bras and panties? Would you buy substandard bras which hurt? Would you buy panties with a poor quality material that gives you irritation? You wouldn’t! I know that bathing suits that fit perfectly are hard to find. I am slim but have a bigger bust as compared to my other measurements so it gets more complicated for me. But I kept looking until I found the perfect pair. My advice? Swimming is not a fashion parade. There are many other ways to flaunt that sexy body of yours. Buy something that is comfortable, and will not come off with that strong wave or that nasty dive. Take good care of your bathing suit and wash it properly.
Don’t dive without gauging the depth
Stumbled upon a nice creek while traveling interstate? Or a beautiful waterfall with that perfect diving spot? Feel like diving? Don’t. It happens only in the movies. You can get seriously injured or even die if you hit rocks. Even in the pool, if you think that it is not deep enough, don’t take chances. Hitting the bottom on a dive may lead to severe neck or spinal injuries.
Don’t forget stretching
Do some stretching before you dive in. Trust me, take it from someone who has suffered a lot of cramps. This used to be my trip to the pool – Reach, Change, Dive. Now it is Reach, Change, Stretch, Dive. The change has made a world of a difference and I suggest that you do it too. It will loosen up your muscles and get the blood circulation going.
Don’t pee in the pool
Not funny! We have all done it as kids, but guess what? We now have brains! The feeling of warmth coming out of us in the pool is too good to resist. Now now, wipe that grin on your face! Peeing in the pool is unhygienic and contaminates the water. Chances of getting infected multiply. You can’t take your share of enjoyment and leave the pool dirty for others.
There you go, top do’s and don’ts of swimming for you to follow when you hit the water. Let’s enjoy this summer but let’s be safe while doing it. I’m off to the beach! Bye!
