5 DIY Facials
4. DIY facial for cold weather
Step One: Cleanse
Take 2 to 3 tsp cold milk and massage your face and neck. Leave it for about 5 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water and pat dry.
Step Two: Exfoliate
Take 2 tsp milk and add two pinches of baking soda to it. Now make a paste and scrub your face for at least 5 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water and just pat dry.
Step Three: Steam
Boil water in a bowl and then lower your face on it. Cover your head with a towel. Allow the steam to do its work for about 3 minutes. Pat dry your face.
Step four: Mask
Mix 2 tsp yogurt, 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp lemon juice. Make a smooth paste and spread it over your face and neck. If your skin is dry, you could use just ½ spoon of lemon juice. Now leave it for about 5-10 minutes. Wash off first with warm water and then with cold water.
Step Five: Moisturize
Take a few drops of coconut oil and apply on your face and neck. Let it on for 2-3 minutes. Now wash your face with cold water.

Step Two: Exfoliate
Use ½ spoon of sugar mixed with milk to exfoliate your skin. Very gently rub your skin for about 2 minutes. Wash using warm water.
Step Three: Mask
Apply a layer of milk of magnesia over your face and leave it for about 10 minutes. Rinse your face with cold water.
Step Four: Moisturize
Mix egg yolk, honey, and sour cream and make a thin paste. Apply this paste liberally over your face and neck and let it remain for 5 minutes. Now wash your face with warm water first and then cold water for best results.
