7 Common Complications During Pregnancy
5. Anemia
There are also chances that a woman suffers from severe anemia during her pregnancy. She experiences shortness of breath and starts looking a lot paler than normal. A woman needs all the nutrients she can possibly get during her pregnancy and anemia can be treated easily by just eating a proper diet. Complications caused by anemia are quite rare.
6. Severe nausea and vomiting
This can get serious only when the woman is completely unable to hold down any food. She can then get dehydrated and the fetus may not be getting all the nutrients that it requires. It is however common for a lot of women to experience morning sickness.
7. Premature Birth
Premature birth is also a complication that may occur during pregnancy. Stress or other biological problems in a woman’s body can cause premature birth. The baby will be safe and healthy after 36 weeks, but anything shorter than that time is a cause for worry.
