Are You Going Through Marital Stress? Find Out Now
4. Are you forced to do what ‘he’ thinks is right?
Being in a relationship never means being a prisoner. Love should be supportive and not a force to bind your loved one with rules and regulations that are stringent. It should not be a derogatory feeling. If you are doing something which your partner thinks is better for you, without your consent in it, then again it’s a sign of an unhealthy relationship. If you are killing your own ‘likes’ and ‘dislikes’ in a relationship, then it reveals the hidden dissonance in your relation.
5. Are you happy?
The most important indicator of dissonance in a relationship is the simplest one. Do you think you are really happy being with your partner or is it just the virtual happiness which you are forcing yourself to accept?
The aforesaid hints are just a few indicators to reveal how blissful your bond is. If these points mirror the reality of your relationship, then you should think again. You can sustain such a bond for a short period but at the end of the day, you need a loving and caring person, with whom you can be yourself. It is impossible to spend your whole life with a superficial bond.
