Is Your Best Friend A Threat To Your Relationship?
Have you been getting different vibes from your partner lately? Do you think he could be cheating on you? Let us warn you that the culprit may not be too far. Your partner’s potential romance could be blossoming under your own nose! Not convinced? See how your best friend could be a threat to your relationship.
1. He keeps praising her in front of you
It’s a great thing to be appreciative of each other’s friends, no doubt. But if your partner’s praises for your best friend are hitting cloud nine, we can understand it could be a real embarrassment for you. Who’d like her guy to say, ‘Hey, you look sexy in that dress’ to her best friend?
2. He hugs her every time you meet
We sound like complete suspicious cats, do we? But we don’t mind that as long as it helps you! Hugging and cheek-kissing each others’ friends is perfectly fine. But if you think the cheek kiss between your partner and your best friend is a little more than platonic, you’ve gotta be careful.
3. He meets her after work with an excuse of ‘catching up’
If you have ever caught him red-handed meeting your best friend, don’t take it lightly just because it’s your very own friend in the picture. You never know what’s cooking in their regular meetings after work ‘to catch up’.
4. He insists on asking her to join every time you go out
How ridiculous is that? If your partner is not interested in having any privacy with you, it pretty much means he doesn’t care anymore. You seriously need to take stock of what he finds more interesting in your best friend, more than you.
5. He continuously compares you with her
For us, this is the end of the game, dearies. You should be absolutely losing your temper if this happens again and again. Don’t let this insult happen to you more than once. If he ever compares your qualities or habits to your best friend, make it very clear to him that such comparison will not be tolerated.
If you’ve been sensing any of these things that we have written about, it’s time for you to get into action and confront your partner or your best friend or both.
