5 Winter Beauty Tips
There are so many funny ways in which our skin and body reacts to the winter months. You can have a shiny nose, a shiny face, ragged hair, dry and cracked lips and scaly skin on your arms, legs and any other area that has not been covered properly. You can also suffer from dandruff problems and the worst thing that happens around winter is that you get dandruff on your scalp as well as on the areas near your eyebrows. This is not exactly dandruff but a condition that happens during the winter months. This can be a build-up of the creams you are using or just scaly skin. Here are some beauty tips to make your skin healthy and your face glowing (and not shiny) during the winter months.
1. Use a lot of moisturizer
The whole of your body will go dry and get extremely sensitive to touch if you let them dry for a long time. Your skin will probably look like chicken skin, with rough dry and scaly patches. To get rid of this, you need to keep applying moisturizers on a regular basis. Every few hours is also a good option as skin has to stay hydrated as much as possible.
2. Keep your eyes moisturized too
You do not have creams to do that, but talk to your doctor and see what you can do to keep your eyes from becoming too dry. Dry eyes can get itchy and when you scratch them too much, you will end up with red eyes that can get a little puffy. Definitely not beautiful to look at and can even spoil your well planned look for the night.
3. Use milk for hydrating your skin
If you do not like being slathered in moisturizing lotions and other creams through the winter months, then soak a washcloth in a bowl of milk and apply it on your face for a few minutes every day. This will hydrate your skin and also give it the essential oils.
