Sugar, especially white sugar which most of us use every day can be pretty bad for our health. We use sugar in a lot of things that we use. We put it in our coffee, tea o sugar every morning, we put in in our milk shakes or other drinks, and we use it in our deserts. Everything combined ensures that we end up taking a lot more sugar than that is good for our bodies and our overall heath. There are many alternatives to sugar, some natural and some artificial. Honey is a natural alternative and a sweetener with sucralose is an artificial sweetener and is marketed as an alternative to the sugar that we use every day. Although it is sold as a sweetener minus the ill effects of sugar, there are things you should know about the claims that sucralose is a safe alternative.

1. Sucralose is good only if used in moderation

Just like sugar, sucralose is good and works only if you use it in moderation. Because it is an alternative, you cannot take it liberally. Taking too much sucralose and taking it every single day can prove to be as dangerous as taking sugar on a daily basis. Although it does not contain any calories, it is also not recommended that you take it with your every coffee or every meal.

2. It contains chlorine

Chlorine is one of the ingredients that go into the making of Sucralose. Although it is not a very healthy option to have chlorine in your daily diet, you can reduce the bad effects of chlorine or having it in large amounts if you take less of sucralose. Opponents of sucralose claim that it has a lot of chlorine that can cause some damage and they might have a point, if you are going to take sucralose in large doses.
