This American TV series has received much acclaim and has a wide fan following. In case you haven’t yet given Spartacus a chance, then we give you some of the reasons to change your mind.

The series is named after its lead character, Spartacus. He has managed to gather much love from the audiences around the globe. He has strong values and is fully determined to get Sura back. Even though his character is that of a slave, he manages to treat people well and with respect. He is one of those men who can die for their friends and for the people they love. The fact that he stands for all that is right, adds to his overall persona and charm.
2. The effects
Spartacus is the perfect combination of Gladiator+300. When you watch the series, it would seem as if you are witnessing a graphic novel. The action is gory and brutal with arms and heads flying around and a LOT of blood and sand. All in all, the amazing effects make the series feel like a treat for the eyes. This of course would appeal to only those who appreciate such rawness and brutality.
3. The action
The fact that the series is basically about gladiators and their fights in the arena is reason enough to enjoy some superb fights and action sequences. You get to be a part of several epic fights that make the viewing experience greatly engaging. However, all this is not recommended if you are weak-hearted.
