7 Tips to Get in Touch With Your Feelings
Most girls try and find excuses and reasons to avoid and bring out what they are actually feeling. They choose destructive ways and means to get past difficult situations. They either engage themselves in other activities or maintain silence rather than admitting that they are angry, frustrated or upset. Here are a few tips to face your feelings head-on and get in touch with them.
1. Talk to your self
Stand in front of a mirror and talk to yourself to find out the root cause of the way you’re feeling. It could be depression, anger, frustration, etc. Dig deep and you will know why you are feeling that way and it will be easier to find a solution.
2. Talk to a friend
Talking out or venting out always helps. Share the state of your mind and heart with a close friend and feel lighter. Advice and suggestions from a friend will also help to face your emotions.
3. Engage in a hobby
If talking is something you can’t do when angry or depressed, pen down your thoughts or paint it out on a canvas. This is a healthy way of expressing yourself
4. Feel good therapy
Get into acts that make you feel good about yourself. A self massage, few exercises that awaken your senses to the sensual part of you, standing in front of the mirror and admiring yourself are all ways to remind you that you are as good as others. This in turn helps you express your opinion better.
