The truth is that not all horror movies are as horrifying as they intend to be. At the end of the day, only a few turn out to be truly scary and the rest become unintentionally funny! Those who write the stories for these horror movies, obviously take a lot of things for granted – the intelligence of the viewers, for instance! And there are certain plot lines which are always the same. Also, certain things that happen in these horror movies are so atypical that they are almost stupid. Listed here are 5 funny facts about horror movies.
1. The most nervous character in the movie has to go to find out where a certain noise came from or what made it. Even though he/she may be someone who stutters while talking, when a strange noise is heard, he/she will be the one who will suddenly muster all the courage to go down into the basement or inside some dark dungeon-like place to find out what it is and then get killed by a serial killer or a ghost. Surprisingly, someone so jumpy would not only go on such a valiant mission, the ghost/monster also seems to have a natural proclivity for them!
2. The group must split up because otherwise it is impossible to escape a disaster! They know that the ghost/monster likes to attack someone who is alone. Still somehow, splitting up into smaller groups – even individually – seems to be the only way to defeat or kill it. The result is, of course, more deaths along the way!
3. The characters must act smart when the thing that is after them has already killed half of the group. They suddenly realize that they must go somewhere in order to do something that will probably help them defeat the thing that is after them! So, one of them must go here, one must go there, two others must do this, and someone must do that, and in the whole ruckus, a few more deaths happen!
