9 Mistakes You Should Not Commit While Shopping
6. Buying without trying
You should never, ever buy anything without trying it out. You don’t want to be left with a lose, hanging top or a too-tight-for-comfort skirt, do you? The dressing rooms are there for a purpose and you should use them efficiently.
7. Wearing unflattering clothes as they are in vogue
Everyone has a different body type and there are specific clothes that fit every body. So you must take care and buy appropriate clothes for yourself. Don’t buy clothes that don’t suit you or those that draw more attention to your flaws. Buy clothes that you are comfortable wearing, don’t simply buy them because they are in fashion. You will look a fashion disaster if they don’t suit you.
8. Listening to the salespersons
Salespersons are there to make your shopping experience a delightful and well sometimes…an expensive affair too. They will coerce and cajole you into buying something for which they will get a commission. So hear them out, but don’t follow their advice religiously. They are not your personal fashion stylists, after all.
9. Getting duplicate items
Some of you may be drawn to luxury items, but may not essentially be able to buy them. This makes you buy duplicate items for a cheaper rate that look exactly like their real counterparts. But the similarity ends there. There are chances that the items you bought are of inferior quality and will wear out in a surprisingly short period of time.
