5. Avoid tea/coffee at least 2 hours prior to your nap time

Having tea or coffee near your nap time will interfere with your sleep. So stay away from them. If you want, you can have them after you get up.

6. Keep your phone on silent/voice mail

Ensure that you don’t get disturbed during your power nap. Remember to keep your mobile on silent. Continual disturbance will defeat the purpose of power napping. So stay away from all technological gadgets and surrender yourself to sleep.

7. Forget your stress

Train your mind to let go of all the stress before you try to nap. Try to relax, take deep breaths exhaling all tensions out and then take your nap.

8. Keep yourself warm

Having a warm cloth or blanket on you will help you get asleep fast. The idea is to make your body feel comfortable so as to induce sleep faster.
