5. Don’t procrastinate

After the New Year’s Eve, it’s time to embark upon the commitments you have made to yourself. Start immediately.

6. Always remind yourself

Put post-its and reminder notes on your cell phone. Make sure the warning bell is always ringing in your ears, loud and clear.

7. Use your New Year calendar

If you have set targets, make a calendar note only for your resolutions. How much you have achieved and how much you need to. It will make you feel proud of yourself and show how much more effort you will need to put in.

8. Resolutions are not meant to be broken!

Don’t just do it because it’s a New Year ritual; making and breaking is easy and following your resolutions is not. Tell yourself, it’s important and you need to do it and it’s a pact that you cannot break.
