8 Steps to Plan a Workshop
5. Organizing logistics
The smooth running of a workshop can only be ensured by properly organizing every smallest detail, including that of food, travel and lodging facilities, which may be provided during the course of the workshop.
6. Crafting agenda
Once the goal and logistics of the workshop have been decided, it is important to distribute and plan the time frame for each activity during the workshop.
7. Judgment day
Don’t be mechanical or monotonous. Spend time to communicate and build rapport with the participants. Remember to stay energized and have fun.
8. Following up
It is always wise to follow up with your participants a few days after the workshop. You may do so via mail or call, or make it more casual by inviting the entire group to a lunch or dinner. Talk to them and ask their review on the workshop and give them a little extra if they need. Close things on a positive note.
