Don’t be surprised if a guy comes and sits next to you in a bar saying this. If you ask this guy why he thinks that you should buy him a drink then he will probably say, “Because when I saw you from across the room, I dropped my drink. My drink was rum and Coke, my name is Derek and your name is?”

This is one of the most used and very boring pickup lines ever. When a man really can’t find words to start a conversation, he uses this one. Women find this line really boring.
