Agreed, yoga and meditation helps to relax the mind and the body. But, it may not help everyone. There are different factors, which cause stress. This also depends on individual circumstances. Finding a stress relief trick, which will work according to the situation, would help a person. Therefore, yoga might not always help to reduce stress.
7. “Drinking or smoking will reduce stress.”
This is absolutely untrue. Drinking or smoking has nothing to do with stress reduction. In fact, drinking or smoking could trigger stress in a person. This will not help in any way.
8. “Stress causes heart ailments.”
Stress not only causes heart ailments, but also affects the brain and other parts of the body. Chronic stress causes many diseases in the body.
