5. Traveling
The world is so big, you can spend your entire life traveling without seeing half of the places on earth. Apart from short weekend trips, the entire family can embark on a journey to a distant land. Look at the Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal of India or the hanging gardens of Babylon. You will be spoilt for choice!
6. Music
Bring out the creative side in you. You can be a family who plays a wide variety of instruments. Now, that doesn’t mean you have to be a Mozart or something but then again, what is more divine than music?
7. Fishing
Some people think that fishing is only for the lazy bones but who said it has to be boring when you have your family with you. You can compete on who catches the most fish and then cook your catch right then and there. And you don’t even have to invest on learning some tough new skill.
8. Volunteer
If you love animals, help out at an animal center when you have time. Or else, just volunteer for an NGO and help the society. This way, your kids will also learn the value of helping others and giving back to the society.
