8 Christmas Party Games For Kids
5. Berry Guess
This is a cute game that can make the kids learn something useful and, at the same time, have loads of fun! You have to hang a huge bunch of mistletoe from a chandelier and tell the kids that they have to count the berries on it. Make them stand on a stool one by one and count. After everyone has counted, get the mistletoe down and count the berries yourself. The kid that comes closest to the actual number of berries gets the prize.
6. Pass snowballs through the wreath
For this game, you need to hang a wreath in a doorway at an appropriate height and make snowballs of cotton battling and white tissue paper. Prepare these snowballs beforehand. Make the kids stand at a convenient distance from the snowball one after the other, give them 3 snowballs each. The one who passes all the 3 snowballs through the wreath is the winner.
7. Santa says
Want to know the Christmas version of ‘Simon says’? Well, it’s ‘Santa says’! The leader elf (any adult) can start the game with, ‘Santa says clap three times’ and the kids start clapping and the game goes on. But when the words ‘Santa says’ are not spoken and the kids still do the action, those kids should sit down. The last kid who is left wins the game.
8. Throw my snowball gift
Here, you have to wrap all the presents in snowballs, made from cotton battling and white tissue paper, and keep them under the Christmas tree. When it’s time to give out presents, make the kids stand in line and an adult should throw the presents one by one to the kids. What a great way to receive a present, isn’t it?
