6. Don’t drink alcohol in the flight

Keeping yourself hydrated while traveling is a must and drinks that are alcoholic or caffeine based in nature make you dehydrated. Avoid consuming them while in the flight.

7. Melatonin

You could try taking a few grams of melatonin to keep jet lag at bay. Make sure you take a very small amount as it is safe only if you take it as a short term remedy. Melatonin is a natural secretion in our body, also available at drug stores, that regulates our circadian rhythm so that we are able to sleep comfortably at night.
